u get your car crused just because of a Nitrous system installed on your car.....lol its going to be hard gettin performace out of it without a real nice budget.........cosmetic stuff like a lip kit, lowering, or some big rims....other than that you not gonna have much luck........

or you can put a spark plug in your exhaust and shoot flames out of it.....or go filterless for that extra 3 hp :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

intake & exhaust are not going to give you much horsepower, the solara isnt a car to build for speed, its one for looks and solid driving. you can make it fast.... but it takes a great deal of time and money. richard (i20solara02i) and i both had custom turbo kits made for our 2az's, and several older members have turboed their gen1 v6's. in my opinion, turbo isnt worth it unless you plan on spending money on fabrication and maintanence. your best bet being on a budget is to stick to ascetics. find a used TRD kit, save up for some springs and struts, snag a TRD rear sway bar, and enjoy having one of the best built and best looking cars on the road. good luck brandon

how about a flame throwing exhaust :)

i say start with the suspension: lowering spings and struts or tein coilovers (if they fit the 4cyl, dont know why they wouldnt)
some rims, and a trd rsb would have you set.

then move on to the engine....

but yeah, a price range would help....

The common rhetoric at SG is sell your i4 (5sfe) and get a 1mzfe. Some people here just don't g

lowering, trd-lip kit, FSB, RSB, bigger front brakes, rear disc brakes, plus sized wheels just for starters.

Rippmods makes a decent super charger for the 5sfe engine.

Additionally you can turbo that engine as well, its adapts well to turbo's.

primary question is are your m/t or a/t?

sorry your car come with the least performance potential motor, if you cannot spend big money, it will stay slow forver.

sell it to get a v6 or get another car
