whatever rims you get, make sure you have enough rubber on them. I see way to many rims that don't have enough rubber between the rim and the pavement, and I don't think it looks good.

IMO: 19" + bigger don't look good on a solara. 18" are okay... I would get 17's myself. Screw those dub rims you have to jack your car to get 'em to fit.

I agree 17s are for pansys unless its stock, at least if your gonna spend hundreds get 18s or 19s or just stick with your 16s.

Dude... Get 18s; they're not much of a difference; I've been in a car with them and the ride quality hasn't changed much from stock, and I have a bad back from an accident! I'd buy 18s myself, but I haven't got the money to change away from OEM (My av is Photoshopped)

i went from 17"s not happy....I went to 18"s not happy....... now I have 19"s very happy!! more head turns, people asking me that I'm the only one have 19"s on my Gen2 in my area etc........now that's a great feeling whoa!!!


"BUT" if you're in a tight budget..... i would understand about getting 17"s but you'll regret..... now a days only few fixed up cars rolling on 17"s.... it's you choice it's your money...... we just giving you an Idea which would look better on your ride :wink:
