Once i get going more then 25mph i can hear a quite rattling sound coming from the front driver side.. its constant and has nothing to do with hitting bumps. its not a clunking or squeek but kind of a rattle. hard discribe. anyone know what it could be.
thanks

how olds your car? my 99 has a rattle by the front two tires when its going ~40 mph or when its windy...I'm pretty sure this is from the control arm bushings which I know need to be replaced.

Is it comming from below or somwhere in the engine bay? Check/tighten up your strut mounts...

Yeah its a 99 as well.. but its not a clunking sound.. like when i go over bumps or whatever. i just did the struts and mounts so i know what that sound is. its whenever i start moving and get some speed. really hard to discribe because its not like metal on metal grinding or anything its a ticking rattling... i donno i am probubly not being much help her but just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. ill just take it to a mechanic see what they have to say.

I have the same rattling sound. It only comes from my front right wheel. I hear it only when i'm driving around 25mph and it's a rattling sound kinda like a cash register rattle. I just had the shocks & struts both replaced on that wheel. I've complained to toyota a few times they can't find anything. By the time I drive the car to them they car seems to heat up enough to eliminate the rattle, so I can't recreate it for them. It's driving me crazy though.
