Euro Clears or Regular

Euro Clears or Regular

Postby Yanks0114 » Sun Jun 01, 2003 7:02 pm

Debating which clear corners to get. I allready have the regular ones but they leaked. I've tried to seal them many times but they still leak and they are all scratched So i've decided to invest in new ones since they are so cheap now.

Should I get the euro clears:

Or the regulars

Na, look at the reflection pattern is completely different. One is like stock the other one looks like shattered glass

Go with the regulars...I got the euros and wish i got the regulars because the regualr has the rippled glass effect over the bulb, so the bulb isnt as clear as day sitting in the housing...because it looks cheap. Just my 2 cents!

i bought a pair of the "euro" clear corners to replace one of my broken "regular" clear corners. there really is no big difference in them. i can vouch for that.

in fact, we had a discussion about this a loooooonnng time ago. i kept sayin' there was no difference, but jerold begged to differ.

there is very minimal difference between the two; barely noticible.

Well I believe the difference is that the Euros do not have the ripples, while the regular ones do. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same.

I got the euros for my car and think they look awesome. Perfect fit and I think the lens has a cleaner look to it than the regular ones. Matches the headlights better. Also, I never sealed them up with silicone and have yet to have a leak.

I have decided on the euros. Where did you order them from, and if they were from ebay, which seller. Also did you guys have to seal them up before hand.

I got mine on eBay from "Redlinezone," however I didn't see that seller for clear corners last time I looked. Originally, I didn't seal either lights, until my drivers side actually accumlate water, not just condensation. After that I sealed it with Super glue actually, yet there is still minimal condensation when there is an extreme change in temperature, however no water/rain gets in. Hope that helps.

Alright so i had the regulars on before... but finally got the euros

The lens itself look a lot better without the ripples inside so now it flushes out with the headlights... not to mention it fits perfect!

Either one, i think theres a downside...

Regulars: Good material used, but doesnt fit too great... I had to file down some plastic to make it fit... also my right lens started having condensation... :x

Euros: Seems as if the material on these arent as great as the Regulars, ie cheaper plastic? *shrugs* since the lens is clear... you straight up see the light bulb!! it kinda sticks out like a sor thumb!! but hey it fits perfect and looks nice

Hasnt rained around here lately but has anyone ran into problems with condensation with the euros?? I already seled up my regs... just seeing if I should seal up the euros

"What can you can about aftermarket??" haha
Retired... its been fun Image
