sorry if this a dumb question. I know Snap-Ons have a reputation, but why so expensive?
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Being digital definitely adds to the cost.
But they are extremely accurate +/-2%. Using the click type the average user over torques by more than 2%. With these they beep and vibrate to let you know when you get close and give an exact readout of the maximum torque applied.
I can only afford to buy Snappy if I need something to be extremely accurate.
But these, I feel are way overkill for my needs and I could put the cash towards something else.
They will probably be listed on eBay by this weekend with a buy it now price of $900.
You can buy these individually, but not in a set like this. The Snappy connoisseur will like that.

Those sure are sweet wrenches, but you might have more luck selling them to a shop. They are totally overkill for your average Joe.

And while digital stuff is great when it works, if they're out of calibration it is hard to tell. I swore at an aircraft control surface for an hour before I realized the digital protractor I was using was out of whack.

Good luck finding them a home!
