Oh yes! I still remember that feeling. My heart was pounding big time when full boost was kicking in.

Welcome to the force inducted Solara club. The fun part is learning how to launch and grip through 1st and 2nd...and of course keeping up and blowing by BMW 3 series, Integ Type R's, honda s2k to name a few.

Are you planning on doing any other performance upgrades? Clutch?...gauges?...headers?

i finally updated my cardomain site with supercharger picts.

one thing i noticed though, the belt seems to be wearing a bunch and throwing rubber bits all over, its most noticeable on the alternator. seen here:
(black soot on top left of alternator)

think its a big deal?

as a side note, i noticed a small oil leak last week due to spots on the driveway. got it fixed already, it was the oil pressure switch. weird, especially since everyone i talked to at work has never seen an oil pressure switch leak on a solara or camry. maybe its from the s/c? maybe its the synthetic (mobil 1) i use?
whatever, as long as its not leaking anymore i don't care!

Congrats :P I got my last week and it is awesome. I love feeling that boost and hearing that whine from the s/c. I just drove up by Santa Barbara and got to follow a 'vette. We were on the 101 fwy which had some hills and windy roads. I was a few car lengths behind for a while and trying to keep up was exciting. But as soon as we hit a straight, I heard his exhaust kick in and then he was gone! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. It's not like I would try racing him anyway!

Congratulations! So, will you now fall victim to the money trap and buy the intake, exhaust, smaller pulley, heads, headers, and Y pipe that so many are now buying in order to maximize gains? :D
