As for the diffrence, i think as stated, the only diffrence is that the CPE has an option to change the MAP, like, tuneing with the SAFCII. Thats where the power gain is, basically letting the ECU know what to do, or i guess fooling it?...

from what i read, i would compare it to wiring up a CD headunit to the factor harness...a few wires, that all. Can be easily taken off too.

Maybe someone who has one can chime in...

I havent done the cpe intake, but i did wire the trd boost controller into the ecu and it was a piece of cake... I would imagine this task would be the same deal. If it includes crimp connectors it would be even easier, but Ill let an owner chime in...

really interested in getting in on this but currently saving to build a stock block with internals...how would this intake benefit a boosted lara? would i even be able to use this intake?

Basically your only crimping the wires with crimp connectors like CamryonBronze said. You do however have to cut one wire and connect it to the main wire from the maf-customizer. If you have a soldering iron it will be easy. I didn't have a soldering iron on me at the time so i just connected them by tying them together and surrounding them in electrical tape. Its an easy process crimping the wires, you just have to find the right wires, that was the hardest part for me since i did it in the dark.

Having put it in and taken it out a couple times, I can say it's absolutely simple. Find 5 wires, make 4 3M Scotchlock (included) taps, separate the last wire and connect those up to the black box.

How about that shipping? You just don't find honest folks like that anymore. I paid $12 shipping on a tiny item last month. I'm guessing $10 was pure profit for the bastards. $6 for this whole kit... sweet.

I love the CP-e. BUT as for product support Josh told me "I don't know if it would work" (we all know it does) and as for wiring he said "good luck"
I have it 80% wired in...I can't seem to get a steady RPM reading.
But, I am getting it dynoed next week.

If you don't have a steady RPM, either something is wrong with your car, or you have goofed on the install, I would think.

This kit works flawlessly with the gen 2 in my experience, and I can't imagine an "unsteady RPM" without one or the other. Sorry.

JavaJoe...try to call or email Cp-e. I dont think they tested it with the camry but may know a way to fix it.

Everyone else who is thinkin about buying it lmk (PM or post here) if not enough people buy it im gonna have to pick up the slack so we can get 10, lol.
