do u guyz know if the trd muffler is only made for the v6? I wanna get a TRD muffler for my solara 2002 i4, i look on the web and everything looks like its is made for v6 :cry:

the trd muffler is the same for v6 and 4 cylinder... notice we have the same exact piping =x well... past the whole exhaust manifold and such

Really? I didn't think the I4 and V6 had the same piping. Hmm...anyone else want to confirm?

Yes, the intermediate pipe and muffler are the same for both engines.

Everything after the cat is the same. You have to remember though that the high flow exhaust systems currently on the market are designed for the V6. I switched the exhaust on the 5S to an Apexi World Sport last week and I can say that it, like most bolt-ons, made very little difference, but it does sound solid.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

I know someone who replaced their stock for trd on their i4, from what i heard it made it louder..and he switched back??? so yeah, if you were asking if it fits...yeah..like a glove!

ALso, you have to take into consideration if you want it for the sound or for performane (minimal)

If it's for sound, then get it... otherwise I'd stay away.

Our engine seems to like the oem exhaust seeing that the exhaust (from cold start) actually flows out the pipe and continues w/o flowing toward our bumper... my friend's 99 se v6 has the exhaust fumes coming out and going up and misting up the bumper.
