Does anybody know difference b/n auto & manual Egr tubes

Postby solara blues » Sun Jun 29, 2003 8:30 am

I'm having hard time finding Egr tube for a manual s/c, I was wondering if I can convert the auto Egr tube to fit my 5 speed. What are the differences between the two? Angle? Connector? If anybody knows, or has an extra manual tube, please let me know.
Thanks

You really have no concept of what section to post in.

THIS DOES NOT BELONG IN DIY.

If you continue to post in the wrong section or break the rules I will ask for a temporary suspension on your account. Its like you have to be babysat so you don't do something wrong like post in caps, double post, or post in the completely wrong section.

Look, I'm sorry if I placed my question in the wrong place. I'm trying to do an installation by myself, so I thought I would ask people for help in do it yourself section. :agrue:

Have you tried calling TRD directly to get one? There should be a part number listed on the installation manual. The bends are different on the tubes for the M/T and A/T, here is the comparison.

Just a suggestion- maybe the section should be called "Do-It-Yourself Tutorials" or write
'tutorials only' in the description :-?
I know it must get really frustrating moving posts around.
