I can't comment on a type of tire within the brand, but when you've added as many times as me (155K on my celica.) one does go thru a fair share of tires...i've used that brand before. i was satisfied.

My friend just wore down the Potenza RE950s on his Sunfire and replaced them with these since they were cheaper and he thought they compared fairly well... at least rating wise. Of course a lot of people rating the tires don't know what they're talking about or have only had the tires for 150 miles or something. He said the sidewall isn't as strong and he preferred the RE950s over them, but they were quite a bit cheaper. The only thing he really mentioned was the weaker sidewall.
