ok does anyone know the jbl speaker specifications?, I don't have a car manual, and I want to know

and if no one knows, can you tell me is it worth installing these speakers?

see I have a pair that is brand new, never used/open, and I got it for 9.99, and now I am debating if I should sell them

I'll tell you right now, I have the JBL and they are crap. Better than low end stereo but still anything is better. I asked a while ago myself. Paper cone POS's. Both of mine blew with my rear 6x9 kickers

if you run them off your stock hu, you wont see a big difference. aftermarket speakers generally require more power to sound good

get something better, if you're going to upgrade your h/u to a double din clarion at least get speakers that dont have paper cones

paper cones are crap, they are what the JBLs are and blow easier. I just pulled my JBL fronts today to replace with alpine type S, I forget the model.

Alpine Type S speaker all around.
I love my Alpine Type S speakers.
I also have a Alpine H/U.
While you're at it just buy some Dynamat speaker kits, and put them before you put the new speakers back in.

2 12" type r? should be very loud. I have one in a large ported box at about 600wrms and it hits hard! I have gotten tired of that sound though and am going to move onto something much smaller but you should enjoy that for a good time.
