I'm interested in a turbo for the I4 :D What's the shop name that would be building it? Also any idea on the approximate price? and effects on reliability of the car?

Forced induction will always shorten your engine's life... but it's a Toyota... so let's calculate...

300,000 miles (easily reached =P )
well say you floor it almost all the time now, so that'll cut the engine life in 1/2 (maybe more)

So your car will still have 150,000 miles of life =P

It shouldn't be an issue, because if the turbo stops working, air will still be taken into the engine w/o problems. I'm not really a pro that should be talking abotu this stuff... I'm sure you can find some articles that can better explain it... I'm just reiterating what those articles said... and I'm doing a VERY bad job of it =P
