^ hah last time i went on a mini cruise we lost a member.. he ended up in the ghetto w/ a black gs430 and we found him an hour later accidentally as he pulled into a "random lot to ask for directions" he picked the right lot haha. I'm about an 70 percent chance.. Let's hope i get most of my mods to make the car look good by then =].

I'm glad you can make it Chris. I plan on staying at the Springhill Suites Marriott this year as well. I believe they offer a discount for show members, but I'll give them a call to confirm that for this year.

We got our offer accepted but the closing won't interfere with me coming to the show. So I will be able to leave at a decent time to meet up with you guys. Ill let you know when I book my room.

I was going to book my hotel room tonight, but got to thinking are we sure there is a car show this year? There is nothing posted on their website about the show. Last year they had an events link. As far as I know it no longer exists. All I could find on the internet was a post on a cougar car forum, but it didn't give any info but a date so who knows it could have been dropped this year. I emailed the dealership to find out the details.

I just got off the phone with a manager at Elmhurst Toyota and he said the show is now scheduled for sometime late in September. He thought the new date would be the 27th of September.

Unfortunately, this date doesn't work as well for me since I have two vacations planned for early October. As long as everyone else can still attend the new date, I'll do my best to come out again.

Whoa, guess it was good I thought about it. I probably will not come until the show. September may work for me, but that may hit around the time I will be moving into my new house. So I will have to take it one step at a time.

This is the response I got for Elmhurst. Guess well have to wait and see.

Tentatively, we're looking at doing the car show on Sunday, September 13th. We're still waiting on confirmation from Scion to be 100% sure on that. As soon as I know for sure, I'll post it on our website and our facebook pages.

I have to see about my schedule, but if all is clear, I'd be game for doing it anyway.

That weekend is our Church's greek festival so I more than likely will not be able to make it either. We shall see though

hmm, sounds like this is kind of falling apart :/ I will have to talk to the lady. If not many people are going though, we probably won't make the trip. If anyone hears a confirmation of the final date, please keep us posted!

This blows. I'm not sure why Elmhurst Toyota decided to switch the date this year, but I think it will ultimately result in much less of a turn out.
