I might go as far as to say I prefer the stock FXs over the FX-Rs because of width, though intensity is definitely hands down better on the FX-R.
You might get better intensity with bulb spaced FX but no where near the FX-R's intensity.
I guess it comes down to personal preference.

i prefer the FX-R's because of the intensity all across the cutoff, yea the oem is a lil wider but that lil bit of light isnt even noticeable compared to the replica

What made you chose bixenon since the 1.5 headlights have high beams? Nonetheless, everything looks sweet!
The FXR are FX replicas so they are basically the same specs but they all come with clear lenses and bulb spacers in the rear. They are basically already cutoff and color modded out of the box. I think the clear lens is the biggest contributor to the sharp cutoff though because I cant see a difference with or without the bulb spacer.

I decided on the Bixenon because the price of the FXR bixenon was actually cheaper than the clear lens TSX single xenon and the beam patterns and characteristics look very similiar. Plus I am going to retain my halogen high beam and Im thinking of putting in a yellow bulb in for the high beam...or maybe yellow fogs but either way, Ill have hid and halogen high beams.

Not yet, once they are mounted then Ill take them outside with an extension cord and my psu to see distance

I am very impressed with it so far. I just cant wait to put these baby's on! I'll finally be able to see.

I just un bolted everything and masked off the reflector and shot 4 coats of flat black on the low beam reflector. Tomorrow, Ill wet sand and shoot a few more coats to make sure its perfect, then rebolt evertyhing.
