What feel of off my car?

What feel of off my car?

Postby Big74Big » Mon Sep 05, 2011 10:56 am

This fell off the bottom of my car. It has >SBR+NR C* 19 17581-74070 is written on it.

The * is actually some weird symbol. It looks like a mix between an A and a triangle.

Now I need to figure out how to post a picture.

17581-74070 is the part number. Searching that, it's a piece off your exhaust, called "exhaust damper". Look at your muffler. Follow the piping back, you will see a square flat piece sticking out to the passenger side of the car. Your part attaches to that.

No longer a Camry/Solara owner, I frequent the Tundra/Sequoia forums when I have a spare minute. Having an almost 1 year old doesn't afford that, neither does a new house. Any other original members still around?

I also clicked on this just to make some sense out of the title lol.

You should really consider proofreading before you post...just a suggestion.

Just a few of us of note, Jon. I know several more "pop-in" now and again... and I'm around here and there for some "comic relief" for either myself OR for others (well... maybe NOT in some cases! ) but the site HAS changed a bit, but I tend to be pretty loyal and still find worthwhile activity and if nothing else, the general "culture" in here is still fairly favorable compared to MOST OTHER forums.

I'm member on the Tundra Solutions, but just not too active lately as I have FOUR young kids and a crazy job routine AND in the midst of TRYING TO CLOSE on a home! (Yesterday's market PLUNGE is making me nervous... as my mortgage processing is RIGHT in the middle of review by the underwriters... so my pre-approval MIGHT mean NADA by today! DOH!)

Anyway... Camry/Solara or not, you are obviously welcome and it's always good to reconnect with members from over the years!
