How you guys doin. My names Alex and im new to the asian import scene..... well with exception to a twin turbo VR6 i used to own but other than that ive stuck religiously to european cars; mainly Volvo's. Well recently the transmission in my T5 volvo blew up and apparently they dont make a rebulid kit for M54 transmissions anymore so i sold it and bought a solara from my shop for $1 haha. it needed a motor but i got a good 80k used longblock for $600 out of a lexus and did the swap at my shop in fountain valley.

i must admit, i was skeptical at first and didnt know what to expect but its a pretty peppy car and very fun to drive. its a SE V6 standard trans.
so far ive only put a flowmaster on it but plan on some rims and coilovers in the near future.

This is the only pic i have from the swap (taking the old motor out); it wasnt as fun as it looks lol.
i threw another $1200 of new parts on before i dropped it in.
purrs like a kitten!

well, i live in orange county and work for a import shop as parts manager. if any of you guys need some help with anything i'll be more than glad to help out :D
