so i always liked the premium sound from our JBL's. i think they sound good IMO. im kinda over my subwoofer phase so if i'll do anything, it'll be swapping out the speakers and tweets.

Buuuuut the stock HU is very boring.....here's what im putting in.

Good call on the double DIN. I got the Clarion CX201 and it looks damn nice in my black interior.

Can you post a pic St Anton, Im hesitant to do the double din, sometimes they look too bulky. Only other option is single din with a pocket, which Im not to fond of either.

my friend has the EXACT same kenwood for his eclipse
looks really sleek and it gives you a really wide variety of colors to change to

weird when I was doing research I was stumped between kenwood, clarion, and jvc

However I decided to go with jvc kw-xr810
Image

It has a rear usb which allows me to route my cable to my glove compartment and essentially hiding my ipod
I can control the ipod from my hu and when I'm parking I no longer need to hide my cables and ipod like I use to
plus my center console looks much sleeker without cable everywhere

Im stuck with this now. I want a double din because I hate the way the pockets look but that right there looks massive. It looks good but to bulky for my taste. Touch screen would help with that I suppose but thats extra cash. Good luck with the HU, how hard was the install?

Looks good!
Yeah for some reason the double din looks like it bulges out a bit.
I wonder if we can install it to where it sits now flush
