Can I get a repsonse regarding Alignment?

I'm having Tokico struts and Eibach springs installed. Does ANYONE have recommended alignment specs for good tire wear and decent handling??

Thank you!

The Search fxn should give you all kind's of advice on this topic. For what it's worth after my Tokico/Vogtland install my solara was aligned to factory spec.s.Tires are are wearing evenly, handling is fine.Enjoy the ride!

just take to a alightment shop ( with computer print out) and let them do it. The combo should be close to the factory camber, maybe a little bit negative, but wont cause too much uneven tire wear.

There is no car in the world that will have identical degree camber as you.

Any alignment shop will have a better idea of how to set the camber/toe adjustment than we do here, since they have computers and technology to set the alignment.

Please read the rules and don't double post.

A bit of advice... You are the greenhorn, yet you demand something. It just don't work that way here. You are not the center of the universe. Just take it easy and everything should go along just fine.

Guess what?

Postby Deuuuce » Wed Feb 18, 2004 7:29 pm

I've done this before, kids. Viper site, G35, Harley, Supra, etc. Asking a 2nd time is usually recommended. Getting insipid remarks is something that was missing in the other sites.

NO ONE even HAS the answer and MOST didn't understand the question.

USUALLY when a question isn't answered the first time, the common rule on the forums is to RE-POST the question. I ALREADY searched the archives, there are NO specs that I could find.

There are RECOMMENDED alignment settings from the factory. ONCE the car is lowered, these settings may NOT be optimal. There COULD be better settings to set the alignment. I wanted to find out what those were. You can do that to cars and sometimes it's recommended.

To those that didn't contribute but answered anyway: Do you understand common courtesy? Do you have an education? Do you know anything about cars other than intake and exhaust? Understand written English very well? What is your problem, exactly?

Thanks for nothing to them. Thank you very much for those that answered politely.

The common rule here is to not double post topics in different forums. However, if you feel your topic needs to be reviewed, post a "bump," in your original post.

Yes, of course lowering the car may set off OE alignment settings. There have been cars here lowered on some applications that did not need camber adjustment and some others that needed camber adjustment. I, for one was on the Eibach springs didn't need a camber adjustment. Tirewear was even throughout the tire.

Like I said in the other post above, calm down. If you have a problem with a member on these forums personally, take it to PM's.

Ok im going to respond, since deuce sent me an email saying i am uneducated, do not understand the question, and have nothing to contribute. first of all why did you EDIT your first post. i quoted you already in one of my posts so theres no way you can get out of having this atitude problem because no one has an answer to your question. sorry we are not all genius's like you and know god damn every answer on earth. you posted saying ILL ASK FOR THE 3rd TIME... then made a rolling eye comment at the end. i dont really appriciate that and you need to calm down. and of course there are different alignment specs to lowering your car, as oposed to it being stock highth. i guess no one has actualy taken the time to test this out on their car or have written it down. now to the uneducated part... thats really uncalled for. im 17 and you can joke all you want, but ive rebuilt a 2.7 acura legend motor and to say i only know about intakes and exhaust you have to be pretty damn ignorant. i'll admit i shouldnt have responded like that, i apologize. but i do not appriciate you posting here rolling your eyes complaining about you've asked this 3 times... there is a possibilty that NO ONE KNOWS.

uneducated, ha. Deuuuce'y boy, just because we like to let loose here does not infer that we are uneducated.

I'll let it go though because next week I am taking my King Air 200 to my condo in Ft. Myers Beach along with 3 of my other uneducated friends.
