Injen intakes suck

Injen intakes suck

Postby kondo » Mon Mar 01, 2004 1:09 am

I have had a injen intake on my car for over a year. It was the first mod i bought I have since added a super charger. So i decided to swtich from the injen intake back the the stock air box with a K&N filter. My car runs so much better now. The supercharger kicks in quicker and I get way more low end. I am goign to go to the track this wednesday and see how much of a difference it made.

I agree. I don't think the short ram intakes do you any good at all. They might give you a couple of hp at the very high end of the rev range, but they usually hurt you on the low end. Unless you just want some extra noise, I think they're kind of a waste. I took mine off last summer.

Of course, you are sucking in hot air when you use short ram. :)

I ran my Injen till I supercharged my car, then I took it off and ran the stock airbox because it pulls colder air, I was using a K&N filter, but I just switched that out back to the short ram cause im waiting for my extension to come in :D

Yeah they even got the product number and everything. vendors are puting people on a wait list and once released they charge you and ship. You might want to get on one of those lists. I'm talking about 2kracing check em out. They e-mailed me with this info.
