CE light car idles at 1000 rpm now

My check engine light went off tonight on my way home. I think its cause i have a blown knock sensor from running too much boost. Anyway when i got home my car was idleing at over 1000 rpm. So I let it sit and tried turning it on agian, it started idleing normal and then it slowly started getting higher and higer until it got to about 1050. I need to get a scan tool to read the code. Does any one have a clue what can be causing my car to do this?
