question about suspension

sup guys!

I have a question...

I have a 5sfe, and I want to make my car feel a little more sporty.

I've heard that getting new suspensions (including lowering) is the best way to start modding my car...

I though an intake would be a good first choice, but can anyone here share with me their experience? which one should I do first?

I know a few good things about new suspensions, I'm gonna list them, and if I'm missing any, please inform me!

1. less sway of the body
2. stiffer ride
3. easier manuevers.
4. lowered look is awesome

Since you're on a budget, I would start with the RSB. It's a big improvement, pretty cheap, and an easy DIY. Good luck with the modding, and yeah I think you hit all the important things about suspensions .

my question is..what is an RSB? sorry I'm totally uneducated about mods, except for HID...I know quite a bit.

so...assuming that it's some kind of lowering spring/suspension thing, I can actually do DIY? does that include taking off the wheels and stuff? I want to save money, but I really don't want to mess up my baby!

please give me some tips! a website for purchase or something...and if you did the DIY, please teach me!

Hey guys!

I was just reading around, searching for stuff about suspension, I now understand much more

I understand that springs and struts are sold separately, yet I think I can only afford springs...would the springs give me better handling?

I probably want eibachs, but I saw vogtland for 175, should I get those?

and where should I get them installed? I heard something about discount tires, anywhere else good ?

Yes springs will give you good handling but a year or 2 down the road you are going to need new struts because your stock ones just cant handle the drop for that long. Eibach's are expensive that's why im getting TEIN off ebay for 135$ and they are also a very good company. You can get them installed at most car suspension/tire shops as well as regular mechanic shops. Be sure to shop around for the best price (many will try to rob you).
