Single DIN dual gauge pod -exist?

Single DIN dual gauge pod -exist?

Has anyone ever seen a single DIN dual 2-1/16 gauge pod that will fit in the console? I'm not even sure it will fit but it would be nice. I'd like to go to a single DIN head-unit and put 2 gauges in there if they'll fit. -JoeB

I have one in my car. It's made for VW's. I got it from New South Performance. It took me about a week to get it to fit. I tried it above and below my Alpine head unit to see which angle I liked best. Ended up above presented the best view. It took alot of work to get it to fit,but it was tottally trial and error. Plus it was a pretty cheap experiment. Check it out.

Will, it looks good. Why did it take so long? Did you have to modify something? It seems like it would be very straight forward. -JoeB

That does look great. I've thought about doing that because I'd hate to have a 3 gauge pillar. Do you know exactly which gauge pillar for VW's

Thanks.

JoeB- it took forever because it was too big on every side by mm's. Also my Alpine has funky lip on the top because the face is motorized. And finally, I had to custom fab the brackets to keep it in. For VW's it just snaps in. It really wasnt hard, I was just making very small adjustments.Once you start cutting, you cant put it back!

shidosha01-thanks. It really looks pretty stock. Thats what I was looking for.

Danny -that looks good !!

I think it was the panel for the Golf/JettIII. I'll check.

I bought the Mk4 2 guage panel.
I just noticed they are selling the "Universal " double sided panel that fits 3 guages. Hmmm Boost/Volt/EGT ??? I smell an upgrade coming.
Oh yeah they are pretty damn cheap.
