ok here it is....my airbag light has been coming on lately. i dont know why and i took it to a mechanic and he told me that he could not find the prob. well once in a while its fine and doesnt come on. i could not figure it out. any advice would be wonderful and appreciated. thanks all.

the exact same thing is happening to me actually.

It's gone for good now though about 300 miles later

It could be the side airbag connecter under the seats, maybe one of ur passengers kicked it or something. Or if u have subwoofers, the vibrations could cause airbag connectors to come loose.

i dont think that its the subs b/c i dont use them that much and i dont have it on too loud or too much bass. could it just be the sensor? what if i dissconect the battery? would that reset it? i mean it makes me kinda nervous cuz i dont want to be driving one day and have the explode on me. know what i mean?

The first time I took out my driver seat and put it back in the airbag light stayed on for a couple days then just stopped turning on. Check the plug under your seat. Unlug it then plug it back in again. That's all I can think of.

well it might not be..Have it rechecked again. mine was the same too off my old car and it wasnt any loose wire or anything..it was a fault in one of the wire and the car thinks that its been setted off..you shuold get it checked or when you get into an accident that it will not work
