Tein vs. Eibach - My Verdict
I recently switched from Tein to Eibach for my Tokico struts. I must say that I like the Eibach's better. They are supposed to have a stiffer spring rate, but they do feel smoother on the main roads, while still maintaining great cornering. Sharp turns that used to make my tires squeal are now silent, meaning this suspension combo is keeping the tires glued to the road. I was honestly surprised the first time I took a sharp right at around 20 or so, and the car just WENT. I can't comment on the drop much because the Eibachs have not settled yet, but I do think the drop looks better. How long do I have to wait for it to completely settle, by the way? Right now I've got about a 3 finger gap up front (skinny fingers) which seems kind of high.
In short, spend the extra 50-60 bucks and go for the Eibachs.
