deformed TRD rims
Hey guys:
Ever since my last tire rotation, my steering wheel started laterally vibrating at freeway speeds, so I eventually had things checked out, and found out that my rims that had been brought to the front were deformed. Well, I had them "unrotated" so that the bad rims went back to the rear, and of course, now the steering wheel feels fine.
My question is this: do you guys think it's bad for the car to keep riding on these rims, even though they're on the rear and I don't feel the effects of it? Should the rims be replaced? The rims that are currently on the front are fine.
I really don't want to spend the $'s because I was planning on a spring/strut upgrade soon.
By the way, with regards to the spring/strut upgrade, is it customary for shops to give you a break on the installation price if you ordered and installed at the same place? Anyone recommend any such shops in the West Los Angeles vicinity?
Thanks so much in advance.
