Correct exhaust for this application
I have a 2003 SE, 2.4L four cylinder. Love it. Fairly quick, Reliable, economical....... Many have told me to maximize benefits i should upgrade the intake, exhaust at the same time. All i plan to do with intake is drop in a K&N fliter. No SC, TC, or CAI. As for what i want, Number one it has to be street legal in CA. Quiet. Lower sound. If i could squeeze more horses out or milage that would be great. Not building a race car, just a classy cruiser. From what i searched and found, the TRD seemed to be the way to go for me, seeing that i dont have a y pipe. Seems like an awfully expensive muffler. Then custom piping on top of that ( http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php? ... ht=exhaust ) ouch! What do you think. Suggestions please.
