Lighter flywheel, what will that get me?
About to get a new clutch and I've heard things about ligher flywheels. As far as I know, a lighter flywheel means the engine will have to overcome less inertia in the drivetrain, so it should be able to spin up faster, resulting in more power. Is that they difference? What other side effects does a lighter flywheel have? Will it be beneficial in daily driving? Will it make the car idle rougher? Thanks.
