Yes, Stoid is still in business. I'm currently looking for an engine builder

I'd like to go to Stoid because he is just a few miles away from me, but because Greg had problems with him, I'm kind of scared.

Damnnn, that's all kinds of badass! You seriously need to get some pics on your cardomain.com page. I'd like to see more of your ride.

yeah...I was looking at that too....

and it's not the nature of our engines on boost per se, as his powerband starts to dip long before even ours usually do. the majority of us hit peak power at 6250 or so and then drop...and that's usually due to exhaust restrictions since not that many of us have headers. those who don't have a custom y-pipe can see their peak power even earlier than that.

I'm guessing that there's a restriction on the DP or something a long those lines on that setup.

BUT, personally...with that much power...and more importantly, a gain of almost 80ft/lbs of torque over the midband range....THAT is well worth it for the sake of driveability on the streets and even on the track (not drag)

Thanks for the props everyone. He's right about the midrange power band and more responsiveness on the street. That was our goal with this new turbo. The T66 was too much of a slug off the line and hittin trap speeds at almost 110mph doing low 14 times wasn't too fun. All the power at the last setup was around 5000 and up.

We'll see how the 1/4 mile times are this season because the car is like night and day with this new setup.
