i have an automatic Solara. It seems that the lights on the shifter seemed to stopped workin. Im guessin its prolly the fuse or the bulbs. Any ideas as to wut to do? As u can tell im a newb at this.

Here goes another newb question? Is it possible to get VVT-i on 1-1.5 solaras... ? i hear about how sum ppolz wire in VTEC on non-vtec hondas all the time... wonder if its possible with toyotas ?

if ur talkin about the I-4, the 2002-2003 already have it (2az), while the 99-01 (5s) do not. the 99-03 v6s (1mz) do not have vvt-i. as far as installing it, i dont think anyone on this forum has done it. but it doesnt seem like it would be feasible because vvt-i deals with changing valve timings, which i guess is controlled by the ecu. and i dont know if theres also some hardware switch/component in the engine that allows this to be possible...any ideas?

u think if someone were to do it... would increases be dramatic ? it would be nice to have an edge on Hondas VTEC :D
