today milt installed my silver gauges. right after the install, he turned the car on and the CEL came on. he reset the battery and it went away. i drove around a lot today after the install (about 2 hours) and it hasnt come back on, i have a feeling that it wont.. just wondering if anybody has had this problem.. if so, what was the code on the CEL?

Did not pull the code yet. It went away before I went to disconect the negative terminal. Was on for two days till it went away.

that might of been your problem.

sometimes, when the gas cap is not on hard enough, it will trigger that stupid CEL.

if your car is running fine, and you feel no problems, then i would have nothing to worry about.
