I just bought the Philips Vision Plus bulbs from
http://www.autolamps-online.com/product ... centre.htm

Don't know anything about them, but i figured the site was well designed and it was only $30.. Besides, I gave them one of those virtual credit card numbers. What I'd really like to see is to generate those things with a limit. That way I could put the exact amount of the purchase and then that number is useless. Right now, as it is, anybody can wreak a lot of havoc in a month and a half when the number expires.

I'll send pics when(if) I get them. They're suppose to be 50% brighter than stock and 25% brighter than silverstars. They were also cheaper.

Looks a bit expensive compared to what one can usually get from a B&M retailer, the site selling "K2" kits for ~$500.

Robert, I think they're worth it. My lights aren't yellow any more. Take a look at the pic on my website, and u can see some difference. In person, the difference is alot more drastic, and when driving at night, it seems to light up the road alot more than stock. I got these GE super blue lights at Walmart for about 1/2 the price of the Sylvania's (17.88 for 2-pack), so I'm trying to decide if there is a difference b/t the Sylvania cool blues and GE super blues.

Our cars (99-01) take 9003 for headlights and 9006 for fogs.

Yellow fogs

Postby SKYravefever » Sun Oct 20, 2002 5:53 pm

If you happen to live in a foggy area, say... San Francisco, then yellow is the way to go due to its wavelength. In those areas, I highly suggest getting yellow bulbs for the fog lights. Otherwise, plain old plasma blue/white/purple is just fine.
