Shifting on an Automatic - Racing ???

YES it will mess up your tranny by shifting an auto. Why do you think its an automatic tranny, because it was designed for you not to shift. Not rev up in neutral then drop it, or downshift to slow down, or shift when racing. THis is the fastest way to burn up your tranny.

i dont quite understand that.

did you mean "it will fusk your shizz" right up?

haha but yea me and my friends choose to reverse the words for comedic effect. like u get out of a test and it messed u up so bad, u cant even talk straight anymore 'yea that test sh*tted my f*ck right up'. kinna corny, but hey, who cares :P

anyhoo in that post i was jus saying torque launching in an auto will definetely mess up the tranny

Yeah power does drop after the peak. The sweet spot for me is somewhere between 4000 and 5800. When I get the urge to be pushed back in my seat I put my auto in "L" and smoothly accelerate from a stop to a little more than 4000 rpm, then mash the throttle to the floor and :D (shifting out of L before redline hits of course)

I dont neutral drop and I never engine brake. I flush with synthetic atf so I think my tranny will last a very long time, even if I drive hard from time to time.

explain why you seem to think that a tranny flush every 15k will protect your tranny from abuse.... :-?

haha from my past experiance with my old car before that i learned my lesson
so now i do a flush all the time it gets rid of all the bits and particles in your tranny and the fluid is cycled trough the tranny system as for the drain and refill is just empty and put it back in
