anyone know how to make the lights turn on without the corner lights turning on? i only want the corners to blink when i signal, not when the headlights are on. please

Ok there should be three wires.. Black is the ground. Leave that one intact. There's another 2 wires. I dont know what color they should be but one wire is for constant corner power and the other wire is for the blinker. Err.. here's the fun part. Cut one of those 2 wires and try to figure out which one is lights up the corners. If you happen to cut the wrong one just strip the wires and connect it back together. Unless you have some service manual, that should at least tell which wire is for what purpose.

oh and you just cant swap 1157 bulbs for 1156.. you would also have to change the socket which means you have to cut the wire and buy a 1156 socket. Then you have to wire it up.

All solaradude did was tape one of the connectors on the bulb. Or you can get a hot wire tester and find out which wire behind the housing is for the running lights, and cut and tape it off.

its the green and orange wire, or was it blue and orange? i forgot already haha, but i know it was the only wire with orange in case anyone else wants to do this. quick and easy, cut the orange wire and tape it up.
