Trustworthy Reverse Indiglo Gauges???

Trustworthy Reverse Indiglo Gauges???

Postby TRD_solaRa » Tue Jul 20, 2004 2:29 pm

This is the first reverse glow gauges that I've seen for our 5-speed/manual Solaras. But, my question is whether YOU GUYS think this is TRUSTWORTHY or not??? Or if they'd work on my 1999 SE V6. The thing that kinna sketches me is the fact that it says "98-01 TOYOTA CAMRY SOLORA" . . . the Solaras only came out in 1999 . . . so I'm thinking this guy who's selling it doesn't know much about the specifications of our cars. Any input would be all G. Thanks fellaz.

I took a look at his feedbacks and they looked fine. Plus he's selling similiar products, so it leaves me to believe it would be a good product.
BTW..REVERSE GAUGES look good.

Should work no problem. Any guages that worked for the 98-01 Camry will work with a Gen 1 or 1.5 Solara

BTW the only diff between the manual and auto guages is the seethrough section between the fuel and temp for the gear indicator.

I got the auto one cheap, so I just filled in the section with 'Solara'. I wish I could find a way to light them up.

After a bit of searching I was able to find some reverse glows for my 99 auto that let you change between 7 different combinations/shades of blue and green. Spliced them right into the wiring for the stock gauges and it works perfect. I'm sure you could find some that would let you change color.
