Aparently it is the fog housing and not the bulb. Hidtech said they would charge $100.00 plus $15.00 shipping + Parts. (Capsules) $30.00 including what you have to pay to send it.

Not too bad considering the efficiency. I wish Peter could at least say the parts he used to do this mod. Is it realy that hard or come close to $150.00 for you to DIY? Cause if It's much less then this and can get a hold of the other items needed to install then I would consider a DIY.

Sweet! Yeah this guy Sean from hidtech said he is going out on a business trip for the next 3 weeks and if I wait till he gets back he will give me free return shipping. $15.00 woooo what a discount! yeah right. Peter, I'm placing the order today. I'll let you know when I get the caps.

I got Yellow bulbs from Nokya already so would that affect the light output? I guess the brighter the bulb the more yellow your going to get. (These are not bright at all) I might just put the regular halogen bulbs back and see which one is more yellow.

Thanks Peter!

Major Correction! It is $100.00 installed WITH parts So that is like paying $60.00 for installation.

Return Shipping is $15.00

Total: $115.00

He took off $15.00 since I waited till now for him to get back from the trip. Not bad at all. I'm sending them away this Friday.

Peter, would I need to spend $60.00 to install this myself anyway? PM me if you can.

Thanks,
Louis
