most of the halogen bulbs have a blue tint to them. you may have to get true HIDs in order to get just white with no blue. the bulbs acura uses seem to be the whitest bulbs i've seen.

From what I've noticed, even the real HID systems have a blue tint. I was driving with my friend yesterday, and I saw a BMW X5 (the SUV) with them. The headlights definitely had a bluish purplish tint.

yeah, i know. the bmw, the honda s2k, mercedes, all have blue tints. the lexus and acura ones have less blue than the others if any at all.

just do a search for injen intake... there are several discussions on the pro's, con's of the intake. it all depends on where you live, weather, driving conditions, and all that.

that's what i was saying. it also isn't worth the money for companies to retrofit them because the solara isn't as popular as say... the civic. but the camry is supposedly one of the highest selling cars so i don't know why they wouldn't give the option for them.

i think toyota is going all wrong w/ the marketing of the solara...all they'd have to do is give it a little sportier flare and market it better and i'd betcha it would become popular...that's ok..i'm kinda glad they're stupid cause it make us more unique!!

you're unique....just like everybody else!!

i see solaras all over the place here.. considering there are 3 or 4 nice sized toyota dealerships within 10 miles in any direction, and there are million people in the washington dc. seeing 4 solaras a day isn't that bad. i see civics everywhere.
