Anyone get heatshields for their car yet?

I found two different heatshields available from Covercraft for our car - Reflectix rollup sunshield and UVS100 accordion fold heatshield. Anyone get either of them and have comments? Has anyone gotten any other models?

Place where I found them:

Found one for $8 at Checker Auto. Sorry, don't remember the brand. It's gold on one side (points out) and silver on the other.

whoa!!! 30 bucks for a heat shield???
anything with a reflective material will do. 6 or 7 bucks at pepboys.
i dont have any scientific data about it but common sense should prevail here.

But the Covercraft ones are sturdy and a perfect fit. I've seen them for other car makes.

i guess its a personal choice then. i tend to save the perfect fit for stuff that matters. not for stuff im going to leave in my car when its parked. i bought a heat shield for my wifes expedition at costco for 9.95 that had suction cups to keep it in place on the widshield. not bad fitment either.

Suction cups sound interesting but having those marks on the windows doesn't sound too good to me. Plus the mounting and unmounting time would be longer.

The only thing bad about parking under a tree is that assorted stuff falls on your car from it, some of which is not the best for your paint usually. :x
