Got it for 2G. I hope i can have it ready for tracking/autocross by the end of this year.

Here is works need to be done, I just got 16" new tires and alightment done
1. fix the damn A/C.
2. need a headunit and alarm
3. make it pass smog ($250  )
4. fix exhaust leak (the old school HKS is about as old as the car! I think only people who age from 24 to 32 recognize the muffler)
5. front rotor replacement and rear pad replacement
6. change all fluids
7. need a paint job. the pix it looks nice but in person the bumpers, hood, and roof are fadded to gray color. should i pay it gunmetal or metalic purple as my S14?

stuffs on the way
1. steering quick release
2. short shifter
3. rear strut bar

wish list:
LSD
front and rear adjustable control arm
and hope the engine will not die

look like i am going to have a busy summer this year....

solara update is going to install Greddy oil filter relocation kit and also water temp gauge, oil pressure gauge. replace brake pads and brembo discs. I MIGHT change a smaller turbine in the future, but that just a maybe. still having a high chance to sell the car next summer.

you should try and get the 240 ready for the track really soon... im heading to the streets of willow springs for a track day on sept 17th and then to buttonwillow sometime in mid november for an entire weekend. it would be fun to run against you.

ps- screw getting the car painted... get coilovers! or LSD! or SR20! :drinking:

yeah i plan to get LSD first before i go onto track or race. The reason behind this is that I had bad experience that spin out at fast turns on the street, and hit the curb with my previous S14. I reasoned that happen as I have cheap walmart tires on the car and it give up traction when i try to take the S turn with 80mph, then when i almost get out the turn, the cheap sh!t gave up traction. without LSD and only one tire is spinning, and that spinning tire lost its traction too. this resulted fish tail and spin out. At that accident I bend my subframe, all suspension arm on rear right side were broken, rim cracked, and axle broken. It took me more than half a year to get enough money and gather up parts from junk yards.

i think a big part of the problem was your walmart tires though, not the lack of LSD...
