If you want to see the stock wheels with red calipers, check out
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/520457/2 I'll be getting a better shot (from a distance) as soon as my new digital camera comes in. (The old one got run over by a lawn mower - ouch!)
I used a brush on enamel paint and let it dry at least 20 minutes between coats. Three coats on each caliper. Only paid $15 for a kit which included spray on caliper cleaner, about 8 oz. paint, brush and masking tape (which I didn't bother with.)
By removing the two bolts that hold the caliper to the disc, you can remove it and have much better access to the sides/bottom. Don't get paint on the bleeder valve! Remember that the bolt with the rubberized tip goes on the bottom....
I did the front wheels one at a time because I don't have a good enough jack that I trusted enough to take both off. For the rear, I borrowed a good floor jack and centered it on the frame and did both wheels at once.
The instructions say not to drive the car for 24 hours so that the enamel can cure long enough it won't blister.
