front spoiler on gen 1?

front spoiler on gen 1?

Postby s e y t o n » Tue Aug 24, 2004 12:29 pm

searched but didnt quite find what i wanted..

does any company make a front spoiler for the gen 1 solara? im looking into body kits (not any time soon) and i want to make my car more unique, but on a college student's budget.

since i doubt anybody makes a front spoiler i was wondering if i could fit a spoiler from another car on there with some modifications of course... anybody done this? anybody have an idea of what (other) car to look into for front spoilers that might closely fit the solara? maybe camry? even accord?

thanks

full lip? = custom

Front bumber replacement? There are two. Blackwidow and the Skyline style one. Forgot I think its R somthing. A few people here have it. If your on a budget it will not be the best thing to do first. Then again I don't know what you consider a tight budget.

ive seen a guy with a maxima put a piece of plastic moulding (ya, the kind for the bottom of your walls in your house) around the front of his bumper. at first, from a distance it looked alright, like it sat lower, but then the upclose pics looked pretty fugly :-?

i've thought about doing this as well.

not too sure what material to go with.

maybe carbon fiber or urethane but no fiberglass.

ok this is what im talking about..

there has got to be some sort of "universal" front spoiler, or at least one that fits more than one car.. unless this one was custom made. but that is exactly what im talking about with those little clamp thingies too.

That is a whole front bumper instead of just a spoiler. There are a few of them for our car but none of them are good quality urethane. They are all fiberglass. -JoeB
