I got 500 miles on the first tank I checked. It was mostly highway but there was a 30 minute traffic jam and the sea to sky highway is very hilly.

The other reason why i meant by 2.5-3+ rise in your tacho is mostly meant towards city driving cause you're shifting gears up and down and more gas is needed to be pumped in to pressurize the crank up a bit to get into the prefered gear for the speed. So each shift+amount of rpm=amount of gas entering from the fuel injectors

hehehe. Also if its an auto trans. That'll eat some of your gas as well.

When you're on the highway. once attained desired crusing speed area. You'll be just pumping in a minor amount of gas in to keep the crank pumping since it doesn't need anymore juice to go up higher again as its stabilized.

I ain't no smart mechanic but thats how I think about it :bday: *uses a dunce cap*

The Solara tank is 18.5Gals.

I believe the light comes on with around 2 gallons left.

I have gotten as high as 525Miles on like 17.5gal but that was all highway with cruise control on.

If I do 50/50 highway/city I'll get 22-25mpg even with the Supercharger

Mainly city I get around 19-21mpg

The Solara holds 18.5 US gallons. My gas light started coming on once I used about 15 gallons.

On average I get 220 mpg with 1/4 tank left. I have tested my car before though by driving until the fuel light came on and I was at like 320 miles I think. So there is like 100 miles on less than 1/4 tank of gas which is weird so I am under the impression that my fuel tank is not reading correctly. Especially cuz I have 18 in wheels and things, plus I shift arounf 3k rpms.

It's a factory gauge, I'm sure its not exact. Keep in mind, it might be measuring fuel level and not actually the volume of the tank.

So now that everyone sees the differences. What are those people with poor gas mileage going to do to get back into shape? Those were some poor numbers.

#1. Easy on the lead foot (meaning don't rev up passed 3.5rpm at most)
#2. Relax and be a rough rider and turn off your AC. Let the vents open up.

That’s just for starters. Routine maintenance is key.

Depending on traffic conditions and such, between 290-340 with a a/t V6

I dont mind getting the poor gas mileage. I meam sure I can drive like a grandma and get better gas mileage but then again I would be better off selling all my aftermarket parts. If gas mileage was a huge concern I would sell my car and buy a prius. The main thing is that speed cost money and buying an extra gallon or 2 of gas here and there is worth it to me.
