World's first CF trunk on a Gen3!

FINALLY was able to test fit the CF trunk Ive been working on for Gen 3 Camrys for months now... The trunk itself weighs less than half of my original stock one! Plus it looks cool... I know, yall are going to say, "But wait, where is your carbon fiber hood?? It looks funny!" I know I know, it does look weird without the hood, but that will be on by Thursday or Friday.

Here are pics of the trunk (and my shiny new JDM Scepter panel)!

Very nice.

The pic of the trunk & the car are kinda dark. Can you take some pic in the day light, please?

Look awesome.

I wonder if you had a stereo system in the trunk, would that cf trunk be ok?

That looks really sharp man! Keep up the good work.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

yeah i used my trunk to make the mold for it. i was the one running a group buy on these things on the toyotanation boards... its costing 500 bucks a pop for each one. its really awesome quality and after driving it around on the freeway and with the stereo on... no problem at all... no vibrations or any difference at all between that and the stock trunk. i dont really have a "system," just an Infinity basslink 500W sub... its puts down some really decent bass for it's size and with that up all the way, still no vibrations...

THE HOOD WILL BE ON FRIDAY MILT!!! hahahaha

i was so excited about finally getting my trunk last night that i just snapped whatever pics i could so that i could post. im taking some better ones today...

ah, and im leaving my car gold... im going to repaint it a darker gold though. more like the top secret color.
