Body Kits...

my solara was an accident a while bak.. and due to a lack of funding and refusal for insurance to cover for it, i had to leave it in its condion. It was however still driveable so it was fine for driving, it was just the apprearance that was the problem and maybe a slight alignment problem that couldnt really be fixed. Turns out from the accident the frame got pushed up and right a little. The back bumper and strunk lid had also sustained damage.

Now for the next year or so i will be saving up to fix the body. Im in sorta of dilemma as i really dont know what i should do.

I will nonetheless have to pull out the frame and replace the trunklid of its deemed unrepairable.

but as for the bumper itself, whether i juss get it restored back to stock, and just go with the TRD molly designs kit...

or not replace it back to the OEM bumper and go with kits such as the Octane kit..

im not quite sure about the reliability of either. So i ask yall on your opinions of what i should do and what yall think is the better body kit.
im not sure if want to go mild/conservative/clean or the more wild/aggressive type...

Octane and molly design's kit both look good. To get the octane kit fitted and painted, it'll be about the same price as the molly design. It's either a aggressive kit but can crack easily or a mild kit that's durable...u should pick according to the kind of roads u usually drive on.

I guess that depends on what you like more... and the roads. In my opinion, the Molly Designs kit has a cleaner look to it, less "ricey".

But yeah... whatever floats *your* boat.

If I remember right that was a custom job. It's really sharp :).

Sweet bumper

Postby michaels artic frost » Wed Sep 01, 2004 7:30 am

That's one SWEET bumper. I wonder how much something like that would cost, since it's a custom job.
