Back from the Sandy hook so soon? I just got back. Suns nice today, but it just started raining.

I was thinking of making mine black. I got a silver mesh insert on the bottom, but I didnt paint/clearcoat it so it got tarnished and now its this sickly rotting white color. I can either redo silver mesh, but prep it well, or spray mesh black. Or maybe white looks better? What do you guys think on a black Solara?

Im talking about for the lower grill. I already sprayed my grill black, and left the emblem chrome. I really like it like that, but jurys still out on the lower grill.

I think black mesh w/ chrome emblem would look real good as well. Im a partial to the DIYing, so I dont think I would buy in, but I think it would look real good on alot of Solaras out there.

I really like the black, but I'm not sure whether or not to leave the chrome frame. It does look good both ways. I'd like to see this one w/an emblem. I would also do the lower part black too. I really want to change the mesh I got now for some better quality stuff. Where's a place to get some good mesh? (not the rain gutter crap)

I'd go all Black and no Chrome trim. Especially on a black car.

I knew some how this post would come back to me. Has such a hard time trying to use the Search because I forgot what I called it...lol.

Just I just went through Gen 1, 1.5 and started doing Ctrl + F for grill.

Anyways. If I can get a Gen 1 and a Gen 1.5 upper grill, I'd love to do custom grill for you guys. I can definitely do chrome or black mesh. Which ever you prefer.

I've got some time to R&D more products.

I'd really like to get a Gen 1 and a Gen 1.5, this way I can make it and ship you the custom grill and you can ship your old one to me so that I can make a new one for the next person.

Sorta like a swap, you pay me, then I ship you the custom grill and then you ship me yours, hopefully it's in good condition and not broken...lol. Otherwise, I'd be one MADD mofo...heehee

and I'm normally a nice guy...heeeheee

hey man, i'm interested in the Gen 1 ALL chrome with no emblem, you think u can hook it up? I hear you might visit the ATL so let me know if maybe u can work something before then
