If you can make one for the gen 1 like the black carbon fiber look one that was pictured and the price is reasonable I would highly consider it. No Toyota logo, all black/carbon fiber.

They wanted $50 and they wouldn't take anything less then $40. SOLD! I'm expecting to pick the grille up on Thursday, latest Friday. Will keep you guys posted.

What I'm proposing is a swap deal. You pay me for the grille and I'll pay for shipping it to you and you are honest and trustworthy enought to ship your old grille back to me so that I can make another one for the next solaraguy.

How does this sound? I just want to make a nice custom grill for Gen 1 and 1.5 if anyone is interested. I'm not sure about pricing and I'll keep it as low as possible.

I'm all in for an all chrome/no emblem grill for a Gen1. I tried getting this kit off eBay (come on, it was $20) that just has these little chrome trim peices that you cut for each vertical slit. Took a long a$$ time to do and still looked shotty. I just tore it off cause it looked so bad. Hopefully this will be exactly what I am looking for.
