.......you mean mileage ON A TANK? (not miles per gallon: MPG)

A. Lo-fuel lite only permitted during long trips.. (about 2 gallons left); when it comes on, I check: about 560-580 miles.
B. Variables include winds, fuel, speed, a/c and c/c use.

But the fact remains: The Solara V-6 with manual transmission (not available after 2002) MPG-wise gets it on..

ez.........

Damn man. I get around 240-250 at most with a little less than 1/4 tank left. Sheeeit. :o You guys on the mainland get a lot better mileage than our cars in Hawaii. Or it could just be me.

I just drove from Saint Paul up to the Canadian border and back to Grand Marais on 3/4 tank of gas. The trip was 330 miles.

It was on average 65-70 mph all the way.

well from me coming from hawaii as well. errr... Hawaii has many hills going up and down and plus the avg speed limit is nearly 30mph considering most roads are 25-35mph. Rare 40s. H1-H2 Freeways are from min 45Mph to 55Mph MAX(fastlane 65MPH in certain areas AIEA i believe gets away with that) H3 goes to 65MPH? I've only rode that damn highway twice when I was back home for a winter. That place is hella scary almost judging from the upclimb and downhill areas on that thing. But its been couple yrs already since i've done it so you'll have a better comment over me. :P

Last tank 75% around town, 25% freeway I got 380 miles to 17.5 gals. This tank so far I have 300 miles on it and have used 1/2 tank, 95% freeway. I have not taken a long enough trip yet to get all highway but I expect I should see around 500 miles before fillup is required.

To get 18 mpg on 215 miles that means you are only using about 12 gallons of gas. That is not a full tank. :drinking:
