i think i may have seen someone ask this question before, but i couldn't find the thread...

i live in jersey and if you do too, you know how horrible the roads here are. right now i have a set of 17" motegi mr12 wheels and they are bent to hell. can anyone give me any suggestions of brands and/or models that would stand up to the potholes?

Rims will bend but if you want strength then look for "Forged" rims. They are lightweight and stronger. They also cost more too. Also get "50" size tires not 45, which will help out. I remember those days in Newark. REAL bad. I had 55 series 16" rims on my wife's Alero and I felt it bad.
