you used the word "sound" a lot there, and it worries me :-?

rice logic = if you sound fast, you are fast?

Now I cant believe im gonna give you this advice but if you want your engine louder (i assume thats all you are going for here, all bark and no bite) then get a short ram intake, find em on ebay for next to nothing. If you are really cheap then just swiss cheese the airbox. Then go to a muffler shop and have them bend you some new exhaust piping, maybe 2.25-2.5 inches, crush bends are ok for your needs, no need to spend extra for mandrel bent piping. Finally stick the largest fart can you can find on the end of it, ebay again will be clutch.

Ok on a more serious note now, if you desire to feel your car as well as hear it, it will require a larger investment, but you wont be lowering yourself to the status of the majority of rice-boyz and their honduh civics. I strongly encourage you to search these forums for CAI, nitrous, cat-back exhaust - now with these mods you will have some speed to go along with your noise. Also, these wont break the bank like a custom turbo setup (which is prob the best way to squeeze more performance out of the 4 banger, but like i said, $$$).

Just forget about the idea of getting more power (CHEAP) for the 4cyl unless your ready to fork over some serious dough. You can either boost it with a supercharger kit, and/or do the following, CAI, Headers, w-Downpipe & Highflow CAT, Unorthodox lightweight undercrank pulley, 2.5" cat-back custom or Greddy / Apexi.

Easy 20whp at least without the sc kit.

That's about all you can do without internal engine mods.

So bite the dust and either trade that sucker in and get a faster car or make it faster by spending mo money.
