Knocking noise front drive front

Knocking noise front drive front

I just started to notice a knocking noise from the front driver side near the wheel. I think it might be the sway bar mounts being worn out. What you guys think it could be. If it is the sway bar mounts then where can i get some Polyuretharne mounts for the factory sway bar??

When do you hear the noise? When you hit a bump, turn, or just going straight? How many miles on your car, and do you have a reason to suspect the bushings? Urithane are hard to come by but definitely worth it.

Knocking noise

Postby SleeperSolara » Tue Sep 14, 2004 1:01 pm

It only happens when i go over certain bumps in the road, or when i go over a pot-hole. My car only has about 55k on it. It might be the bushing, not sure, but i think it has to do with the sway bar.
