ok guys, i hope that you guys dont just lock this thread. i know that this is something that has been done before but i have a question. i bought the s15 headlights (and got them pretty cheap btw). my question is that i was wondering if i wold have to do anything in order to make the actual bulbs fits. would the plug just plug into the bulb? i dont know if im making sense, but i hope that you guys know what im trying to say. the reason im asking is b/c a friend of mine told me that i would have to cut the hole where the bulb goes in and put my stock bulb in so that it will work...is this true? what other modifications will i have to do besides the fender bumper etc... help me out pls guys. im hopefully going to do this by the end of next month. ty

there are two ways you can go about. i assume nissan used a diff type of bulb than yours.

1. use the bulb housing/sockets the headlights where originally made for. (don't know which bulb it utilizes, i hope you do.) by cutting and splicing to accomodate the nissan's socket, you will have no fitment problems.

2. retro fit by drilling/cutting/dremmeling a new hole so that your original solara headlight socket is used.

just splice the wires. that's what i'm going to do. i bought my s15's brand spankin' new so they came with bulbs and everything. use a multimeter to determine which wire is for power/ground.
